Quality is great!
5/5
"I was moved into a new home and I also live by myself. SafeStreets offered special pricing with my power company so I went with them. The sales process was all over the telephone which was good. Also, the guy who came and installed was great. It only took him a few hours to have the system installed. He then walked me through everything. Additionally, the features offered are just what I need. The quality is good and the cost is within my price range. Having the system definitely has put me at peace when I go to bed at night. I definitely recommend SafeStreets to others."

More about Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania

Wilkinsburg is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The borough has a population of 14,349 as of the 2020 census. Wilkinsburg is share of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The borough was named for John Wilkins Jr., a United States Army proprietor who served as Quartermaster General of the United States Army from 1796 to 1802.

Wilkinsburg is located in an area of the Appalachian Plateau where various home and water transportation routes join, which historically had been inhabited by Native Americans for thousands of years. Wilkinsburg was formed from the area of a valley going through the hills located east of the three rivers confluence, the Allegheny River, the Monongahela River, and the Ohio River: this natural valley allowed lane by home through the east–west barrier of the Appalachian Mountains to and from the east, whether to or from Philadelphia or other parts of the Atlantic coast, along the rivers (which eventually link the Mississippi River and flow into the Gulf of Mexico), through the Cumberland Gap (to or from the south), or by supplementary transportation routes. A essential section of this major home road or alleyway is now known as Penn Avenue, a major street and Place of Wilkinsburg.

In the at the forefront 1700s, European traders arrived, and by mid-century had some conventional colonial sites, including Fort Duquesne, established by France. Subsequently, the general area became a major battleground during the French and Indian Wars, during which George Washington (who passed through what is now Wilkinsburg in 1753, on a diplomatic mission to French territory), Edward Braddock, and John Forbes gained fame and enhanced the land transportation routes. The French and Indian War (1754–1763) was fought with France, England, and various Native groups for territorial control. France lost manage of the Place in 1758. British forces built Fort Pitt in the company of 1759 and 1761, near the three river junction. France in imitation of relinquished claims upon the area. In 1776, the British colonies declared independence, and the Treaty of Paris (1783) confirmed the Place west of the Appalachians as allocation of the newly formed United States. In 1780, Pennsylvania and Virginia no question to extend the Mason–Dixon heritage westward, and the region became part of Pennsylvania, settling a clash of whether the Place would be ration of which state. The Treaty of Fort Stanwix (1784) resulted in the Iroquois Nations then relinquishing their claims to the area, but this was not necessarily the charge for additional Native American polities.

In the 1800s, trade was increasingly greater than before by major mining and manufacturing operations. The area’s population continued to proliferate from the late 1800s and the ahead of time 1900s, with numerous immigrants from various parts of Europe and African Americans of the Great Migration migrating from the Southern United States. For Wilkinsburg, this process sometimes proceeded slowly and sometimes more rapidly.
